WBLOCK circuits
- [Instructor] One of the benefits of AutoCAD Electrical is that you can W-block any circuit you want. So you can write-block a circuit to a separate DWG file. Now when I say write-block I mean W-R-I-T-E. You're writing the circuit to its own DWG file which can then be brought in as a block into your AutoCAD Electrical drawing. Now all you've got to do to do that is literally type WBLOCK on the command line. So you can see up here like so. WBLOCK there, press Enter. And the Write Block dialog box will appear. So we're going to pick a base point of a circuit that we want to bring in. So I'm going to select Pick point here using this icon. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to utilize this little connection here on the one one five one. Now the good thing is it's a circle, so if I do a Shift and a right-click, and use the center snap here, I can go right to there, and that's where I'll want it to be inserted from.
