Visual LISP IDE

- [Instructor] As well as providing additional functionality with the advent of Visual LISP into AutoCAD, they also included an integrated development environment, often referred to as IDE. This allows us to write formatted LISP code and test it right within inside the AutoCAD application. We can access our Visual LISP editor, or IDE by going to the manage ribbon and from the application's panel we can chose Visual LISP Editor. Of course you also see the command line there VLISP. Go and open up our Visual LISP Editor, our VLIDE here. We're going to create a new LISP file. We have up here on our tool bar the standard New, Open, Save, Cut, Copy, Paste, all these different functionalities that we're used to in most applications. Let's go ahead and type in that same simple code that we started with in our first exercise.
