Using hatches and gradient fills

- [Voiceover] We're staying in the zero, zero ground FM areas drawing. And we're gonna have a quick look now at gradient fills and hatches and how we can use them to highlight our occupancy areas in our FM drawing. Now you will remember, we've already touched on hatches a little bit. We've got a hatch right here. Now what I can do, I can utilize that particular hatch pen and use it to hatch one of my occupancy areas in my FM drawing. It's kind of clever how it works. And there's a lovely Match Properties come on in the Hatch Creation tab on the AutoCAD ribbon. So let's do that first, but before we do that, just jump to your Layers panel in the Home tab on the ribbon. Just make sure that the FM People layer is current. Just gives that nice orange color to define it on the drawing. It just stands out a little bit. Now we go to the Draw panel, again on the Home tab on the ribbon. Click on the fly out there, and select Hatch. Now, you'll notice it defaults to all of the previous settings…
