Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] All of the exercise files for this particular course can be downloaded from the library, so that you can download them to a known location and use them to follow along with the videos in the course. Now you'll notice that we've got a drawing up on screen right now. It's called Introduction.dwg. All of the drawing files that you can download as exercise files are dwg files. Now I have mentioned that we're using AutoCAD 2019 for this particular course. All of the exercise files are saved back to the AutoCAD 2013 dwg file format. So any version of AutoCAD 2013 and upwards can read the dwg files. So you don't have to be using AutoCAD 2019 to take this course, you can be using a slightly older version. There will also be some other exercise files available in this course predominantly the sheet set files, which are a dst file. Now you will find that there are other files available, there might be some pdf's for example. There might be some dwf files, the AutoDesk dwf file format. If any of those files are required to follow along with the videos, I will tell you one, when to use them and obviously where to find them, which is normally in the library. So you would just download a batch of files and use them to follow along with this particular course.
