Using the exercise files

- [Voiceover] So last but not least in this introduction chapter of AutoCAD Facilities Management 103 Occupancy we're just going to talk about using the exercise files. Now, you'll notice that I've got a drawing open in AutoCAD at the moment. You can see at the top of the screen there it's 00_GND_FM. So it's the ground floor and it's the facilities management drawing. Now what I will do at the beginning of each chapter is tell you which drawing you need to download from your lynda.com exercise files which come with the courses from the lynda.com website. Now be aware that there will be subtle changes to the file naming and also we will be using an external reference files, extra files in this particular course. So you'll notice here, if I click here we've referenced in a facility plan into our FM drawing. So there will always be two drawings available at the beginning of each chapter of the course. They're in your lynda.com exercise files so you can download them and store them locally and use them to follow along with the videos. Now be aware, they are 2013 dwg file format and we are using AutoCAD 2017 for the duration of this course. So if you do have an older version of AutoCAD it needs to be above and beyond 2013 to be able to read the 2013 dwg file. So, as I said, download from lynda.com, download your exercise files, store them locally and use them to follow along with the videos as we work through our AutoCAD Facilities Management 103 Occupancy course.
