Using a defined polyline layer

- [Voiceover] So we're staying in our 00_GND_FM_AREAS drawing. And as you can see, I've left it in the same state as it was in the previous video. I've just done a zoom extents in the model space so that you can see the whole of the structural plan that's referenced in, and you can see the room polylines that we've put on top of the structural plan, the reference drawing, the X-ray. So make sure that you've got that structural plan referenced in, as per what I said in the previous video, and use the drawings available from your Lynda.com exercise files, as listed in this chapter of the course. So, why do we use a defined polyline layer? Well, the whole idea is that it means that we can isolate that layer very easily. So if I now go and select the structural plan, for example, it's all one reference. And you can see that the Contextual tab kicks in on the ribbon to allow me to edit that reference file if I need to. However, if I go back to the Home tab on the ribbon like so, go to my…
