- [Voiceover] We're staying in the 05_ModifyingObjects.dwg file, and I'm sure you're following along with the file you've downloaded from your Lynda.com exercise files as well. So you'll notice we're in a slightly different view than normal. We're not looking at the overall plan view, because I've gone into one of the named views in the drawing. So in order to get to this little office view, go over to the word Top here in the Model tab and select Custom Model Views and you'll see the Office view there in the list. And that zooms into that Office view like so. Now, you'll notice, I have panned upwards slightly there. Just purely to get it above the command line and any prompts that come up on the command line. Now, in this modifying objects section, we're going to look now at offset and mirror. Two of the more useful commands that you use when you're modifying objects in AutoCAD 2017.
