- [Instructor] Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick. We're gonna be looking at one of my favorites now in AutoCAD, it's the modified text commands available to you in the AutoCAD express tools. So you can we see we're in the express tools tab in the AutoCAD ribbon, and we've got a new drawing for you called ModifyText.dwg. You can download that from the library to follow along with this tips and tricks video. So you can see we've got a nice little bit of single-line text there, and it just says Modify text. I thought that was nice and simple for you, kinda self-explanatory too. Don't worry about layers or anything like that. We're just gonna work with a bit of single-line text because it's nice and simple, and quick and easy, as we work through the different modify text commands. So as I said, I'm in the express tools tab, text panel. And we're gonna go to modify text, and we're gonna select explode. So when you select explode it prompts you to select objects.
