Using Hide and Isolate

- [Voiceover] We're now going to look at a couple of really cool object management features in AutoCAD itself and these are Hide and Isolate and what they allow you to do is hide objects you don't need to see when you're working on a complex drawing and isolate objects that you do need to see when you're working on a complex drawing. Now we're staying in the 10_ObjectLayerProperties.dwg file and this is by no way a complex drawing, but what I'm going to do is use the Hide and Isolate to demonstrate how these work on a simple drawing. You will then understand exactly why they're extremely useful on a complex drawing. So what we're going to do, we're going to work with the bolt, the green bolt in the middle of the other two elements here. So we've got the hinge, we've got the bolt, we've got the keyhole.
