Using the Gradient command

- [Voiceover] We're staying in the same drawing now, the 07_HatchingGradients.dwg file. You may have saved it as a different file name because you're following along with the videos and saving what you're doing. You can see the hatching that we've placed in the previous video, in the left-hand room there, in the office view. What we're going to do now is use a gradient fill to go in this room here, in the right-hand room with the right-hand door. Gradient fills are subtly different to hatching, but I still put them on the hatch layer, or I might have a hatch one layer and a hatch two layer, for example. Let's have a look at how these gradient fills work. We go back to the Draw panel on the ribbon, and we click on the flyout and this time we select Gradient. You'll notice that the ribbon is subtly different. When I highlight now, I'm getting this blue-yellow effect, when I move over the points when I get the highlight.
