- [Instructor] We're staying in our Placing The Unit.dwg file here and we've also got our Drawing1.dwg file here. Drawing1 is just a new drawing which we're classing as our 3D model. What I want to do is take the prefabricated unit here from Placing The Unit.dwg and place it into our new 3D model here. Now the reason I've set this to the top view in its 2D wireframe is it's easy to see visually. So we're going to select everything. Now you can either use a crossing selection window or a blue window selection if you want. It's entirely up to you how you want to do this. But you've got to make sure that everything is selected. So I'm going to start bottom right, click, and just drag all the way across so I get everything in that window. So it selects absolutely everything. I then right click and I go to Clipboard and I'm going to Copy with Base Point. Now the base point should be in here somewhere. So we go to zoom in and…
