[Narrator] Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick, and what we're going to have a look at is a very under-rated tool in AutoCAD. It's the QuickCalc facility available to you in AutoCAD. It's basically a calculator built into the AutoCAD software. So we've got a new drawing for you to follow along with the video, it's called QuickCalc.dwg. You can download that from the library, to follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. It's a very simple rectangle, drawn in model space. Now, if you want the QuickCalc to function in AutoCAD, there's a number of ways where you can actually bring it up on the screen. The first one is in the Home tab on the ribbon, go to the Utilities panel, and there's QuickCalc right there, Quick Calculator. Click there, brings the QuickCalc palette up. I'll close it.
