Use cable markers
- Once again, we're staying in our demo11.dwg file, and our WD demo project. In the previous video we looked at numbering our three-phase wiring in our project. What we're going to look at this time is adding cable markers to our wiring. Now cable markers are really important in AutoCAD electrical projects, because what they allow you to do is mark cables how they would actually look in the physical real-world wiring looms and circuits that you're putting into a building or a factory or whatever. Now what we're going to do is just look at some cable markers on these wires here. That one, that one, and that one there. Now we go to the schematic tab on the ribbon, into the insert wires wire numbers here, and it's in this panel here. So we've got cable markers, and we've also got multiple cable markers. Now this displays a wire connection from and to, listing, basically, where the cable markers should go, if you do multiple cable markers. Single cable markers insert parent and child…
