Panel drawings are graphic displays of what would actually go on a control panel in an electrical installation. You can add panel footprints to a panel drawing using the Schematic Menu. This video shows you how to do this.
- [Instructor] We're staying in the DEMO08.dwg file … and what we're going to have a look at now … is bringing in a panel footprint from our already … existing schematic list of components in our … schematic drawings that are already exist in the project. … Now up until now, we've worked in those … schematic drawings and now we're working … in a panel drawing. … Now the previous video, I showed you how to bring … in a new push button from the icon menu, … that one there. … Now what we're going to do is we're going to go … and look all of our schematic information in the project. … It's going to allow us to create a schematic list … that we can pick panel footprints from. … Now it's over here on the panel tab on the ribbon, … insert component footprints … and you want to click on the flyout here … and go to schematic list. … Now I've already got my list in place. … Now the reason I've already got that in place … is I've already been through that little prompt … where it lists all the drawings. …
