Use Boolean operations on solid objects
- [Instructor] Now let's work on the other half of what I'm calling the sandwich. To do that, we need to open up the Layer Properties Manager and turn on the TriangleBottom layer because this contains the geometry that we need for the other half of the sandwich. Let's also turn on the corresponding 3D layer for TriangleBottom. I think we'll also change the color of the TriangleBottom layer here to be something other than yellow just so that we can differentiate these colors on screen and I'll also double click on this 3D layer TriangleBottom to set it as the current layer. Now I'm going to copy these polyline elements up. So I'll type C, O, Enter. And I'll copy these three polyline elements up in the blue direction 70 millimeters. And then, I'll zoom in here and I want to extrude these up and I'll just do that with solid tools. I'll do a solid extrusion. I'll extrude both of these elements up four millimeters. I do want to erase those defining polyline objects and then I'll use…
