Tag PLC symbols
- [Instructor] Just for a change of scenery, I've gone back into PLC Drawing 02, where the full units PLC was put into the drawing, just to show you how that can be brought into one of your AutoCAD Electrical drawings. Now what we're going to look at in this video is how we actually tag a PLC and all the input output points. At the moment, we've got all the input output numbers but we haven't got any descriptions or anything saying what this particular PLC does. So just like with any other component in a schematic drawing, hover over it, highlight it, hold down the right hand mouse button. And go to edit component, like so. Now, what we're going to do, is we're going to put some descriptions into some of the input and output fields. So I'm going to go with I9 in the list there. And I'm going to go description one, and that'll be start. Now the good thing is you don't have to worry about caps lock in AutoCad Electrical. So I can put that in lowercase.
