In this video, see how to create many handrail supports by using the COPY command's array option and the ROTATE command's reference option. Plus, see how to use the UCS command and Dynamic UCS mode to adjust the coordinate system and move the stair back o
- [Instructor] Let's support this railing by zooming in here…and drawing a sketch on the stair itself.…I'm going to use a rectangle for that.…And I'm just going to sketch a rectangle…right on this surface here.…I'm not sure exactly what size to make it,…so I'll just make it some arbitrary size, about like that.…And we may make some adjustments to that later.…Then, extrude that polyline up…until it meets the center of the railing itself.…
And now orbit around and take a look at that…and see if it's in the right position.…It looks like I should move that over a little bit.…So I'm going to move that object, enter,…and I'm just going to visually estimate it here.…I want to see the whole object.…And I'm going to turn off object snap and turn off ortho…and just move it over by eye,…until it looks like it's in the right place.…Maybe I'll do that again, move it a little more over,…that looks better.…
I need to make sure that it's under there.…It could go over even more.…Maybe I'll have more luck…if I come over here and look at it.…
