- [Instructor] Now that the cranks are complete, let's work on the pedal assembly next. I'll zoom in down here and take a look at these sketches. Let's begin by modeling the core of the pedal, which is this kind of H shape object. To do so I'm going to begin by creating a new layer for the 3D information, right now these objects are on layer Pedals, let's make a new layer, so I'll locate that layer, select it. Create a new layer called dash Pedals, I'll set that layer current, and I'll also change its color to be green. Now I'd like to generate a boundary object that we can use to extrude, and right now we have different lines making up this sketch but they're not really connected at their end points. So I can create a boundary very easily using the boundary command. I'll output a Polyline as opposed to a region and I'll click pick points, and click inside this H to generate that and press enter to complete the command.
