Setting up standards for layers in AutoCAD

- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now and you'll notice we're back in AutoCAD 2019, and we've got a drawing open for you. It's called 00_Office_Ground_Plan.dwg, and you'll recognize it as the drawing you used in the previous chapter when you brought CAD files into Revit. Now, what we're gonna look at now is getting our layers and our drawings set up to industry standards. Now I've cheated a little bit here because this particular drawing has been exported out of Revit to a known standard. So if I go to the home tab on the ribbon, and go to my layer properties in the layers panel here, you can see that all of my layer naming there is set up to BS1192, British Standard 1192 because when I exported this DWG file out of Revit, I made sure that it adhered to that particular standard.
