Join Shaun Bryant for an in-depth discussion in this video Setting up the area table style, part of AutoCAD Facilities Management: Areas.
- [Voiceover] We're starting a new chapter now…in our AutoCAD Facilities Management 101 Areas Course.…And we're going to be looking at…setting up an area table style.…So we're going to use the AutoCAD Table command…to create an area table style,…and then in the next chapter,…we'll look at using that particular area table.…Now you'll notice we've got a new drawing available,…the 00_GND_FM_TSTYLE.dwg file.…That's available in your Lynda.com exercise files,…as usual, and obviously, make sure…that you've referenced in the structural plan,…the ground floor plan, the GA drawing.…
So to check that we've done that,…we'll go to the Insert tab on the ribbon.…We go to the Reference panel, like usual,…and click on the arrow here.…And you'll notice there's the FP,…the renamed reference file,…and you'll notice it's 00_GND_GA_TSTYLE.dwg.…Again, you'll find that in your Lynda.com exercise files.…Make sure both drawings are in the same folder…and that you use the relative path method…to reference in the structural plan, the GA drawing.…
