Setting a hatch to be annotative
- [Instructor] So, we're staying in the 05_AnnotativeHatches drawing, and you'll notice in this particular drawing it's remarkably similar to all the drawings we've worked on before. That's because I like to keep a nice, simple drawing so that I can demonstrate the methodology of what we're doing really easily. Now, in this drawing we've already got a hatch pattern, and as you can see there it's a hatch and it's on the hatch layer. What I'm going to do is click on the hatch pattern first, go back to the Home tab on the ribbon, go to my Layers here and go to my layer pull down and change it onto the the hatch_anno layer. Won't look any different. Same color, just a different layer. Now, I'm going to hit Escape now just to deselect it. So, if I hover over it now, you can see that it's on the hatch_anno layer. Now, let's go look at the layout tab before we do anything else. If I click on the layout tab here, like so, and I zoom in a little bit on those two viewports, remember, the left…
