Setting gradient fills
- [Voiceover] So we're staying in our 00_GND_FM_SETTINGS.dwg file and we're gonna look at some other FM settings now that we might set to highlight areas of occupancy on our AutoCAD FM drawings. And what we're going to utilize in this particular video is gradient fills. Now, you've got two methods of hatching in AutoCAD. You've got gradient fills and you've got your regular hatch patterns as well. We're going to look at gradient fills first, so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to the Layers panel in the Home tab on the ribbon and I'm gonna click on the Layer pull-down here. I'm just gonna utilize the FM_PEOPLE layer for now and make it the current layer because we're dealing with occupancy. So once you've made that layer the current layer, what we're going to do now is we're just going to set a gradient fill for a particular room. Gonna use this room here with the big fireplace in it. So I'll zoom in, just pan a little bit, and there's the polyline there. And what I want to do…
