Set the point cloud parameters
- [Irene] Now it's time to take a look at our point cloud parameters. These settings determine the way the algorithms fit the geometry to the point cloud. Now these settings are for more advanced users, so for now, we'll simply make sure that you're set up to use the recommended settings. So let's look at our point cloud settings here. So we're going to go up to your As-Built modeler tab on the ribbon menu and then we're going to look across, into the point cloud's panel and look at the set point cloud parameter. Now, this can be set up for a number of ways. But again, this is something that's for more advanced users. So for now, just to get started, I want to make sure that you're set up for quarter inch, quarter inch, and for point cloud density, just turn that to 40. So a good rule of thumb is to remember the settings to be quarter, quarter, 40. And we're going to say okay.
