- [Instructor] When you're working with your template in AutoCAD Electrical, you can set up specific templates for schematic drawings and also panel drawings. What we're going to to do in this video is set up a panel configuration ready to covert it to a regular template that we can use over and over again to generate panel configurations in our AutoCAD Electrical projects. So the first thing we're going to do, we're going to go up to the quick access toolbar and click on new. And what we're going to do is we're going to select ACAD_ELECTRICAL.dwt and click on open. Now that gives us a standard title block and gives us a standard drawing, you see it's called Drawing6 in the file tab there. Now what I'm going to do is, I'm going to go into the panel tab on the ribbon now, into other tools and click on the configuration flyout and select configuration.
