- [Instructor] Let's begin working on this s-curve element. I'll go to the Surface tab and use Extrude, and extrude that up seven millimeters. That brings it up just slightly higher than the level of the tube. Let's also extrude it down, so I'll select that Polyline again, and extrude it down seven millimeters, so that the tube remains right in the middle of that element. Then I'll use the Trim command, and select the tube, press Enter, and then select the two surfaces that we just made and press Enter. Then click on the surface where it penetrates through the s-curve right there, orbit and click on the part of the surface inside that S-curve, right there. You can trim that away, also. I'll press Enter to end the SURFTRIM command. Then I'll click on this tube and go over to Properties. Right down here there's a Trims section that was created when we added that trim. And right now the trim is associated with the surface. I'm going to break this association by changing Yes to None. And…
