Sculpt a sloping terrain
- Narrator In this video we're going to sculpt the surface that slopes down from courtyard, down to the ground level below the stair. To get started with this process lets generate a planar surface, and snap it's endpoint over here on this wall and then make a surface. Make it some a arbitrary size like that. Now it'd be helpful when we're sculpting this surface to have an idea of where the ground plane is. So to simulate that I'm simply going to copy this surface, from the top of the wall to the base of the wall. And then I'm going to isolate layers I'll type LAYISO ENTER. I'll select one of the train objects in the wall ENTER. So now, we've reduced the complexity of what we see on screen. I'd also like to go a step further, and this time I will use Object Isolation. Which is down here. I'll isolate objects, in particular I'm interested in just these two surfaces right now ENTER. So Object Isolation works independently from Layer Isolation.
