Join Shaun Bryant for an in-depth discussion in this video Scaling, part of AutoCAD: Plotting & Publishing.
- In the previous video,…we talked about scaling a little bit…when we were talking about…the printing and plotting workflow.…Now you'll notice I'm still in the Output tab…up there on the ribbon…and I've got all my settings there…where I can obviously plot, preview,…go to the Page Setup Manager,…export to DWF, PDF, and so on.…All of that we will look at…as we go through the course.…What I want to talk about right now is scaling…and how scaling works when…you're plotting and publishing…in AutoCAD itself.…
Now you'll notice I'm back in the Model tab.…Now I'm back in the Model tab for a reason.…The reason we're in there is…I want to show you how the scaling works…within AutoCAD.…AutoCAD works within two spaces.…You have model space,…which is the Model tab,…which is where we are now,…and you have paper space,…which is your layout tabs.…So down in the bottom-left corner there…we've got the GA layout tab…and we've the got Staircase A layout tab,…or STAIR A as it says on the tab there.…
Now if you come down to the status bar,…
