- GIS data is usually already flagged…with a coordinate system.…If your .dwg also has a coordinate system assigned,…your GIS data will dynamically reproject.…Unlike .dwg data, when you change the coordinate…system all GIS data will reproject…to match the current .dwg.…Let's try this out.…I'm going to attach Curbs, Hydrology,…and STREETS to my current session.…My current map is assigned WGS84 Pseudo-Mercator.…If we go to Data, Connect to data,…we can look at the SDF connections…of the three files we just drag and drop.…
If we pick on Curbs, you can see Curbs' source…data is actually in Pseudo-Mercator.…If we pick on Hydrology, that data is in Lat/Long.…If we pick on STREETS, we can see that is in…WGS84 Pseudo-Mercator, let's close that.…Let's dynamically reproject everything.…At the bottom of the screen we can change…the coordinate system.…We'll go to the library, and see what this looks…like if we set it to Lat/Long.…There we are, hit assign.…And now the map changes.…
Notice how the data reprojects each time I do that.…
