Realign elevations and sections in 3D
- [Instructor] At this stage, all of the elevations and sections have been tilted up. However, they're at the wrong level in the Z direction. You see many of these drawings are sticking below the level of the sketch here of the floor plan. And what we really want is all of them to start at the ground level there. So your first inclination might be to try out the move gizmo, which you saw in the previous video. And so if I choose move gizmo and click on a sketch, I can move it up in the blue direction. If I click on the blue arrow, I can move that up. And that's great for moving it, but there's no way to make it accurate, because I'm moving it from the center of this sketch, which is some arbitrary location. So I can't really move it exactly and line anything up using this method. So I find that the move gizmo has less utility than the rotate gizmo. But both are transforming the objects around the center of the sketch. So when you want to be more accurate, you have to employ other…
