Putting blocks on a palette

- [Narrator] We're starting in 03_settingup.dwg file. As you can see there, I've got the tool palettes open with our furniture tab here. Like so. I've got my block over here, my dining set metric block over here. Now what we're going to look at now is actually putting this particular block onto our tool palette. Now what we need to think about here is how we add that block to the tool palette. It is unbelievably easy. Select the block. Now you'll see that we have a blue grip in the center of the block. Don't click on the grip. That's all I can say to you now. Don't click on that blue grip. That blue grip is for moving the block around and editing the block using grips in the drawing. However, see your cross hair? There's a little box in the middle. That's a little pick box in the middle of the cross hair. Get that pick box on part of the block. Click and hold and drag. As you come over your palette, can you see a little pointer there with a little plus sign? If I now release my mouse…
