Purging out layers that are not required

- [Instructor] Something we need to think about when we're creating our AutoCAD drawings that we're going to link and import into Revit using our AutoCAD standards is file size. We don't want to have lots of extraneous information in the DWG files that are going to be linked or imported. The reason being is we only need to give the information that is needed. When you think about it, you're not gonna be actually working on the DWG in the Revit project, you're using it as a point of reference, a bit like an x-ref in AutoCAD itself. So you wanna make sure that you purge out everything that you don't need in your DWG file. Now for that reason, I've got a nice new DWG file for you that you can download from the library. It's called 00_office_ground.DWG. A slightly different name to the other drawings we have been using in this particular chapter and in previous chapters.
