The Publish dialog box
- [Voiceover] We're now in another section in our Plotting and Publishing in AutoCAD course, and in this section we're going to look at batch plotting our drawings in AutoCAD 2017. Now there is a better word than batch plotting in AutoCAD, it's called publishing, and you use the publishing tool in AutoCAD to batch plot more than one layout tab and x number of drawings that you might want to plot. Now what you would normally do is use the publishing tools in AutoCAD to publish more than one layout tab. So if you look down in the bottom left corner, you can see we've got the model tab, obviously, you can't get rid of that one, but we've got a GA tab and a staircase A tab called STAIR A. So that means we've got the ability to publish the model tab, the GA tab, and the STAIR A tab using the publishing tools in AutoCAD itself. Now before you do go and do any publishing or batch plotting, make sure that you saved your drawing. You'll notice the tab just at the top of the drawing there next…
