- Welcome to another AutoCAD tip and trick. Today we're going to be looking at how you can alter globally and individually your line type properties. So known as LTSCALE or line type scales. Now we've got a drawing for you in the library for you to download and follow along with this particular tips and tricks video. It's called 207_properties-line type scales.dwg. You can see it there in the title bar in AutoCAD. Just download that from the library, open it up in your AutoCAD and you can follow along with the video. Now what I've deliberately done is made sure that certain line types stand out in the drawing for you. Now we're in the model tab at the moment, and as you can see, our hidden detail is shown by these little blue dashed lines, these ones here like so. Now they're set up really nicely with a particular line type in our layer properties. So if you go to the home tab on the ribbon, and jump into layer properties here on the layers panel, you'll see that all of our hidden…
