- [Voiceover] When you're working in AutoCAD you want to be able to communicate your design intent. You do that by way of printing, plotting, and publishing from AutoCAD itself. So as you can see, we're in a new drawing, which at the top of the screen reads 01_PlottingPublishing.dwg. You can download that from the lynda.com Exercise Files, as usual, and make sure that you use that to follow along with the videos in this particular section. Now this particular section is an introduction to plotting and publishing. So we're going to have a look at printing and plotting first. How do we print and plot from AutoCAD? Well, let's have a little overview of how it all works and the actual process and workflow that we use to plot, publish, and print in AutoCAD itself. Now you'll notice at the moment I'm in the drawing, the 01_PlottingPublishing.dwg file, and we have some tabs, bottom left corner of the screen.
