Placing the annotative dimensions

- We're staying in the 06 annotative dimensions drawing and in the previous video, we looked at an annotative dimension style and we looked at converting our non-annotative dimensions to annotative dimensions. We did that and they adopted the annotation scale of one to four and as you can see they appear quite happily in the left-hand viewport which is set to a one to four scale. Let's go back to our model tab now. What we're going to look at is placing annotative dimensions in our drawing. Now, what's most important is we need to make sure that we select all of these dimensions here and we make sure they're all on the right layer, because at the moment they're not. So we go to the Home tab on the ribbon, into our Layers panel here and see they're on the DIMS layer, which is the non-annotative layer, we click here and put them on the DIMS_ANNO layer. Won't be any different, same color, same line type but just make sure they're on the right layer because they're now annotative. Now…
