Performing database queries

- [Instructor] If your attached source drawings are tied to a database with a linked template, you can query those graphics from those drawings based on a number of criteria from the database itself. This is by far the most powerful query technique for performing source-drawing queries. Let's try that now. First, I'm going to attach the database that is attached to the source drawing. So I'll just drag and drop that into map explorer. The next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to attach the source drawing that is tied to that zoning query. So I'll go to my exercise files chapter three, lesson five. And attach the parcels. Hit okay. I'm just going to do a quick view, just to have a look at it. And zoom to extents. There they are. So I'm just going to regen. There we are. And let's go into the current query. And we have all sorts of choices, we have location, property, data, and SQL, or sequel. I'm going to click on SQL, and you can see the zoning query LT, that's the linked template…
