- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now in the "Using Tool Palettes In Auto CAD" course. And we're gonna start looking now at setting up tool palettes and how the work and more importantly how we set one up and get information onto a tool palette. Now we've got a new drawing to work with, it's 03_SettingUp.dwg and you can see the name at the top of the screen there. As usual you can download that from your lynda.com exercise files and use it to follow along with the videos if you wish. So you'll notice in this particular drawing we've got a block, and if I hover over it, it's a block reference on the layer objects and the block itself is dining set. So if I go up to insert here and hover over insert and click like so, it's a Dining Set_METRIC as you can see there. Now that Dining Set_METRIC is all set in millimeters and the drawing itself is in millimeters too. Now because of that, what we've got to think about is setting our options.
