Opening existing AutoCAD data

- Migrating to Inventor does not require that you convert all of your AutoCAD drawings. But if you need to view or print, or if you want to take an existing AutoCAD drawing and maintain it in Inventor, Inventor is capable of working with that geometry. First let's open an existing AutoCAD drawing. When I select it in the Open window, you'll see we get a preview and I have Options. For example I can Open it or I can Import it. Let's do a couple of operations on this same drawing file. First let's go ahead and Open this file. Opening just takes the AutoCAD geometry and brings it up on the screen. We do have some options for working with a drawing but primarily it's just to add another sheet and augment the existing dwg with Inventor data. Another popular option that's commonly used for people in the process of migrating is simply to measure elements of the drawing or to print the drawing.
