- [Instructor] We're now in the final chapter of our AutoCAD 2018 Essentials course. And what we're going to discuss now are your next steps, now that you're a proficient AutoCAD 2018 user. So what I've done there is I've saved out a drawing called "18_Conclusion.dwg". I've purely done a save as based on the previous files that we've used during this particular course. What we've done is we've taught you how to work effectively, and productively in the Model tab, as you can see on the screen. We've taught you how to use the Ribbon at the top of the screen effectively. We've also taught you how to use things like your layout tabs, so that you can obviously communicate your design intent. So we've got another tab there STAIR A, and you can see that we've worked with view ports, and scaled view ports, and annotation scaling, and so on. So what are your next steps with AutoCAD 2018?
