So what you've done is you've gone into AutoCAD, created a drawing that you need to go into 3ds Max and you've imported it across into a scene in 3ds Max as well. So what you've got, now, is an object, or objects, that look like what you have on the screen, there, in the 3D_Ground Floor_FINAL.max scene that we saved in the last chapter. So what we've got now is a 3D entity that we can work with. And your steps as you move forward, now, are to investigate how to make this photo realistic, add lighting, add rendering, add materials. In fact, even perhaps create some 3D entities that represent your door and your window and add the appropriate materials and lighting effects to make those look photorealistic.
