- [Voiceover] We're now going to look at the other method, the other plotting style that you can use within AutoCAD itself. So what I've done is I've saved out the drawing with a different file name. So we now have 07_namedPlotStyles.dwg and you can download that from your Lynda.com exercise files as usual. Now one of the best bits of CAD practice I can give you is if you're going to change the method of plotting that you're going to use is that you save your existing drawing using the CTB, the Color Table files like we did in the previous video. Save that drawing first, and then it's good CAD practice to save the same drawing with a slightly different file name so that you know that it's using the named plot styles instead. Because when you make that transition to the named plot styles, it's permanent, you can't go back to the color tables again. Well you can, but there's a lot of messing around to do it. It's better to have a copy of the drawing, one for color tables, one for name…
