Modifying object data
- Object data enriches your DWG, and enables you to get much more out of your drawing. Editing that data, takes this enrichment to the next level. Lets look at two different ways, to edit the object data in your drawing. First , we'll use the object data edit tool, under the map edit part of your tools ribbon. The edit object data tool at the command line ADE edit data, will allow us to select the segment we need. Lets pick on the long segment, in the middle of your map. You will see that the unique ID is 1325, and the street name is Stone road E. Lets change that to east, E-A-S-T. Press enter, by pressing enter it commits it. But then we have to hit Okay to finish. So lets edit that again, so under tools, map edit, edit object data, we'll pick on that same segment. You will see that the street name is now Stone road east, lets put that back to Stone road E.
