Modify display settings in AutoCAD

- [Instructor] When you're working with point clouds in CAD, there's some settings that we need to look at to make sure we're getting the optimum performance from our AutoCAD. Let's take a look at the options and make a few changes. So now that we're in AutoCAD, we're going to just right click somewhere in the drawing area here and choose Options. We're going to go across to our 3D Modeling tab. One of the things we want to make sure is, we turn this up so AutoCAD can handle maximum point clouds, or maximum points, I should say, so just turn that up to maximum here, and we'll say Apply. And we say okay. So now let's take a look at our object snaps. Just down on our task tray menu down here, I'm going to look for my Object Snap Settings. We want to take a look at our 3D Object Snaps. We want to make sure that we only have Node turned on when working with the point cloud. Your grid may be on by default, also, which you can just toggle on and off.
