Model a window
- [Instructor] At the stage, we have a series of rectangles here representing the various details on the window and we need to convert this into a 3D solid. Let's begin by converting the polylines into regions and then subtracting and then extruding, so we'll start by typing R-E-G for region and I'll select this rectangle and press enter to convert it into a region. I also want to convert the rectangle out here into a region but it's ambiguous, because when I hover the cursor there, it seems to select the wall rather than the green rectangle. So, in a situation like this, where it's difficult to select things because there are so many different objects there, it's helpful to turn on selection cycling. That's a mode that you can access through the customization menu on the status bar. Turn on selection cycling, not selection filtering, but selection cycling, and that's this green icon here.
