Model space and paper space

- We're staying in on navigatingdrawings3D.dwg file, and what we're going to have a look at now is modelspace and paperspace, and how we navigate between the two. Now, I've already mentioned modelspace and paperspace as we've worked through some of the other chapters in the course. And, modelspace is an environment that you work in, where you do all of your design work in AutoCad. So, you'll notice this particular drawing, right now, we're looking at the floor plan, with the grids, the dimensions, the wall, the doors, the windows, and we are in the model tent. What that means is we are modelspace, where everything is drawn full size. So, this particular drawing is in metric millimeters. So, if I zoom in on that top left corner, so that we can see the dimensions there, you'll notice that all of those dimensions are real size. So you can see that door opening there is 1830 millimeters wide, which is 1830 millimeters or 1.83 meters. So, you can see there in the modelspace that we draw…
