Model a dropout to be sandwiched between plates

- [Instructor] We will now model one of the dropouts, and it's on its own layer. Let's turn that on. So the dropout is a piece of metal which is like the meat in this sandwich that we've built above, and this is going to be slid back and forth I this assembly to allow us to tension the belt mechanism. It's called a dropout, incidentally, because of the orientation of this slot. This is where the axle will be attached, and the axle can drop straight out of this element. So let's create a corresponding layer for this that will be a 3D layer. I'll call is -Dropouts. I'll go to the 3D Layers and set that as the current layer by double clicking on it. Then I'm going to copy these elements. It all highlights as one. I'll copy it up, and using Ortho, I'll copy it up 68 millimeters. And then I'm going to select this, and let's figure out what it is. I'll come over here, and you can see that it's a group. So I'm going to ungroup that. I'll type ungroup. Thereby destroying that organizational…
