Managing a linked CAD file

- [Instructor] Once again, we're in our basic Revit project. It's a brand new Revit project that we've linked that particular CAD file to. And you can see, we're still in Floor Plan Level 0, over in the project browser on the right hand side. What we're gonna look at now is managing either our linked or, in fact, imported CAD files, because sometimes the CAD file is updated, and you need to bring in the new version of that CAD file. Now obviously, your CAD file will be updated to those appropriate standards in AutoCAD. So the standards might need to be updated. You might have new layers. You might have new objects on the drawing. Now if you've got a linked CAD file, a lot of this will happen automatically, but you wanna make sure that if the CAD file goes up to a new revision, you're actually linking the appropriate CAD file, and you've got the right standards for that CAD file.
