- [Instructor] Welcome to another tip and trick for AutoCAD. We've got a new drawing for you. It's called Workstation.dwg. And as usual, you can download it from the library to follow along with this Tips & Tricks video. When open up the drawing, you can see that we've got some blocks in there, we've got a photocopier, a desk, a chair, and a little filing cabinet, all set up as a workstation in perhaps an office layout. Now, we're not going to go and lay out the office or anything. What we're going to look at is how we save the file. And what version of AutoCAD DWG file we use to save that file. Now, you'll notice at the top of the screen, I'm using AutoCAD 2020. It says that on the title bar. So what that means is when I go to do, let's say a Save As, I go up here to the Quick Access toolbar, there's Save As, and as soon as I click on that, you can see the files of type there, it's AutoCAD 2018 Drawing .dwg file because AutoCAD 2020 uses the AutoCAD 2018 DWG file type.
