- [Narrator] So now you're at your certification center, and you're about to take your examination. So what you need to do now, having already previously registered with Certiport, is you need to log in. So as you can see on the screen, I'm still in my browser window, and as you can see there, I'm in the Certiport homepage, the certiport.com page. Now I've already registered, so what I do is I now go and hit my LOGIN button here, instead of Register, because I'm already registered. And that'll take me to the Login page, which is very simple, very easy.
Now, if you do hit that Login, and you haven't registered, you've still got a little shortcut here to go and register, and that will take you through the registration pages like we did in the previous video. So I'll put my username in now, which, funnily enough, it's already remembered on Firefox there, that's my username there: shauncbryant. And I'm going to put my password in, and as usual, my Kaspersky Antivirus warns me now that my password is protected, so I'll put my password in there. Type it in, just hit Login like that.
If you can't access your account, that takes you to the help pages, and allows you to reset your password if you need to. So if I hit Login, in goes in like that. Now as soon as I log in, my page will look very different to yours. Now there is a reason for that. I am a proctor, it says it here at the top. Can you see Proctor? If I click on the down-arrow, Organization Member, Teacher, or Test Candidate, you would be a Test Candidate when you log in for your exam. I'm a Proctor, because I work with Autodesk ATCs all over the world, proctoring certification exams.
So I'm that guy that walks around the room while you're sitting there working furiously, taking your Professional exam. And I'm the guy that will, obviously, assist you if there's a problem with the interface, there's a problem with the exam. If you need to go to the bathroom for example, I will be there to make your exam gets paused so that you don't lose any time. Bear in mind, both exams have a time limit. So the Certified User has a time limit, the Certified Professional has a time limit. Now the Certified Professional exam is a two-hour exam, so there is the possibility that you will need to use the bathroom.
So you might need me, as a proctor, just to pause your exam, make sure that everything's okay, make sure that you're not taking your AutoCAD manual to the bathroom with you, reading up on a few questions and then coming back. Now I'm not going to follow you to the bathroom, there is a degree of trust there, we're all grownups after all, but that's why we have proctors: to manage the exam. But that's also to manage your experience with the exam as well. We don't want you coming away from an exam feeling that you've been let down by us, as instructors and proctors. The proctor is there to help you.
So if you're struggling with the interface on the exam and there's something not working, you can ask me to assist you with that, for example. So once you're logged in, you'll get your log in page. You go to the exam that you've got set up in your browser, and off you go with your Certified Professional exam. You'll be running an AutoCAD in the background as well, a full version of AutoCAD, and it's all controlled, it's all within its own little proctored window. So you can't go off and use the help screens for example, they are disabled in the Certiport exam window.
So when you're taking your Professional Certification exam, you can't go and click on AutoCAD help or press F1, it won't allow you to do it. So once you're logged in, you can take your exam, and with a successful outcome, you become an AutoCAD Certified Professional.
