Layer naming strategy
- [Voiceover] Another thing you need to think about when getting your FM settings just right is your layer naming strategy. So we're still in our 00_GND-FM_SETTINGS drawing, the one we've used for the whole chapter. And we're going to have a look now at layer naming in the Layer Properties Manager. So jump into the Home tab on the ribbon and I'm in the Model Space for the drawing. I'm gonna go to the Layers Panel. Now my Layers Panel is a little bit squished up, purely due to the resolution of the screen that I have to use to record these videos. So mine is squished up, but you should see that quite happily the way it is there on the screen. Go to Layer Properties, and that opens up the Layer Properties Manager. Now the lalyer naming when you're in your FM drawing is basically that every layer should tell you it's an FM layer. Now I've made it pretty obvious. You can see here that I've got FM in front of every single layer. So a new layer that we create for occupancy might be People…
